Description:

Ideally you’ll have experience in some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:

  • technoeconomic analysis
  • regulation for bioprocessing or food productio

Responsibilities:

HOXTON FARMS IS GROWING QUICKLY AS WE SCALE UP OUR PILOT MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN LONDON. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD A TALENTED, ENTHUSIASTIC AND DIVERSE TEAM WHILE PLAYING A HUGE ROLE IN SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE CELLULAR AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY.

You should be a highly experienced leader with a proven track record of hiring scientists, managing projects and developing strategy in a commercial setting.
The role is based full-time in person at our HQ in London. We are willing to support international relocation.

You should have:

  • 8 years’ industry experience in bioprocessing
  • deep technical expertise in mammalian cell culture scale-up (>200L), process optimisation and downstream processing
  • experience building and leading a team, managing a multidisciplinary technical roadmap and setting long-term cross-functional R&D strategy
  • familiarity with GMP/GLP environments
  • familiarity with building and running a manufacturing plant
  • strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • a bold mindset, ready to innovate and challenge industry standards in the design process

You should have:

  • 8+ years’ industry experience in bioprocessing
  • deep technical expertise in bioprocess scale-up to commercial production quantities
  • experience developing novel operations at large scale
  • familiarity working in regulated environments
  • familiarity with building and running a manufacturing plant
  • experience building and leading a team, managing a multidisciplinary technical roadmap and setting long-term cross-functional R&D strategy
  • strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • a willingness to learn from domain experts at Hoxton Farms
  • a bold mindset, ready to innovate and challenge industry standards in the design process
  • startup experience (series A or later)
