As our Middle East presence continues to grow, we are now seeking a Head of Marketing & Communications to shape and lead ATÖLYEs brand, narrative and market presence across the Middle East, strengthening our positioning, visibility and impact with clients, partners and the wider design community. Head of Marketing and Communications The Head of Marketing & Communications will lead ATÖLYEs regional marketing and communications strategy, strengthening our market presence, positioning and reputation across the Middle East. This role connects our work, thinking and value to the right audiences, supporting growth, building long-term client relationships and ensuring clarity and consistency across all external communications. Working in close partnership with the leadership and growth teams, the role plays a key part in enabling ATÖLYEs next phase of regional impact. Main Responsibilities - Build a rolling 12–18 month strategic marketing calendar integrating PR, events, campaigns, content, launches, exhibitions, and milestones. - Forecast upcoming opportunities tied to regional cultural and industry calendars. - Ensure alignment with practice leads and business development priorities. - Position ATÖLYE at major cultural, design, architecture, and innovation events. - Secure speaking roles, exhibitions, panels, and partnerships. - Oversee bilingual press releases, media outreach, interviews, and features. - Build narrative platforms for Architecture, Experience Design, and Community & Learning. - Develop and execute Arabic and English content across all channels. - Engage stakeholders in real estate, hospitality, tourism, culture, government, and tech. - Track performance and refine strategy using insights. - Lead cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring alignment across the practice. Required Skills & Experience - Fluent in Arabic and English (required). - 8–12+ years in communications, integrated experience is highly sought after - developing content strategies, media strategies, social strategies - Experience within a PR/Communications agency would be highly advantageous - Experience planning long-range marketing strategies and calendars. - Strong writing and storytelling skills. - Experience in GCC creative, cultural, or design ecosystems is highly preferred. What Great Looks Like - Expert at building structured, proactive, multi-channel calendars. - Deep understanding of the MENA creative and innovation landscape. - Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills. - Able to translate multidisciplinary work into compelling narratives. - Strong command of modern content strategy, storytelling, and analytics. - Understands how private-sector decision-making connects to brand visibility.
