Job Description Reporting to the Head of Artist Services, as the Marketing Senior Leader, you will build a forward-thinking marketing team. As the Marketing Senior Leader, you will move beyond providing simple market access to driving "Access to Success.". You will lead a forward-thinking team to craft complex, multi-territory creative campaigns that prioritize long-term artist development over short-term gains. The ideal candidate is to have an ROI-driven approach to understand the artist development, can build a long-term strategy in close partnership with the sales team (A&R and Marketing Project team). This position would be responsible for building Top charting artists in the country. Core responsibilities: Artist Development Leadership: Lead and mentor Project Managers in architecting robust artist development strategies specifically tailored to targeted markets, ensuring that "access" is effectively converted into measurable "success" Strategic Execution & Scaling: Lead the deployment of the Breaking Artist Strategy, setting high standards for audience building, creative planning, and sustainable growth while managing the day-to-day execution of marketing plans and artist relationships Data & Performance Analysis: Oversee the analysis of audience, sales, and performance history to monitor core Artist Success KPIs, ensuring performance is tracked regularly and corrective actions are taken when needed Marketing & Brand Expertise: Design, manage, and evaluate innovative marketing campaigns for "digital artists," conducting competitor research and market trend analysis to ensure production and creative assets cut through digital noise Team Orchestration: Harmonize the Marketing team (Editorial, Media Partnerships, Digital Marketing, and Video) to build creative and profitable plans that drive market share and consumption across digital services Cross-Functional & Global Synergy: Coordinate with Local, SEA, and Central Artist Success teams—as well as in-house departments like Media Buy—through consistent business reviews to ensure every unit delivers effectively against global priorities DSP Partnership Development: Deepen strategic partnerships with local DSPs (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, YouTube) to increase marketing opportunities, specifically leveraging technical levers like Discovery Mode to increase market share Financial Accountability & ROI: Oversee marketing budget allocation, ensuring all spend is linked to clear ROI, KPI measurement, and profitable artist growth outcomes Vendor & Investment Management: Manage third-party vendors using a clear scoring framework to assess effectiveness and impact across both Marketing & Promotion Budget and Opex investments Mentoring & Upskilling: Support and provide guidance on marketing key results to the team, upskilling members in sophisticated digital marketing to deliver better value to artists Qualifications 10+ years extensive experience in B2B or B2C marketing leader roles within the music, media, or high-growth consumer brand sectors Proven ability to manage complex, long-term brand lifecycles, moving products or talent through the marketing funnel from initial discovery to sustainable commercial success Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical digital trends and "market signals" into actionable strategies for cross-functional teams and external partners. A commercially oriented leader capable of managing complex economic models and delivering "significantly positive" financial returns. You should be comfortable balancing high-level creative vision with rigorous data-driven results. Hands-on experience managing and leading a Marketing Team with strong exposure to digital marketing, media buy, etc Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and decision-making skills Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns Excellent written and verbal communication skills Contract type: Regular
