We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
The Role
Following a departmental restructure, we are recruiting to a new role of Head of Marketing, Brand and Engagement to lead our integrated marketing, digital and brand strategy. This pivotal role will strengthen GamCare’s position as the UK’s leading provider of gambling harm support and treatment through the development of sophisticated marketing and brand initiatives that enhance GamCare’s reputation, drive service awareness, and help more people access the support they need.
The Head of Marketing, Brand and Engagement will be instrumental in shaping GamCare’s brand architecture, digital transformation and marketing effectiveness. Working closely with GamCare’s Clinical Operations team, you will lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels that directly support our treatment services and Helpline. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will drive strategic marketing and digital decisions that deliver measurable outcomes and value for money across our services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement GamCare’s integrated marketing, digital and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with clinical service delivery objectives
  • Drive a comprehensive brand review and refresh, with particular focus on increasing awareness of the National Gambling Helpline and treatment services across all channels
  • Lead GamCare’s digital transformation strategy for marketing platforms, ensuring our online presence delivers exceptional user experiences that support clinical objectives
  • Develop and implement advanced marketing effectiveness frameworks encompassing digital performance, brand tracking, and marketing mix modelling
  • Champion marketing and digital excellence across GamCare’s strategic initiatives through sophisticated audience targeting and channel optimisation
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of GamCare’s website, apps, and digital tools to maximise service accessibility and user engagement
  • Establish marketing performance measurement frameworks that track and evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activities against strategic objectives
