Description

Salary based on experience + 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays), discretionary bonus, pension scheme, private health insurance. Remote working but onsite meetings as required in London and other Erlang Solutions offices.
Location - London preferred, but other parts of the UK considered for the right person.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Founder and the COO, the Head of Marketing is a member of the Senior Management Team and will be expected to be able to operate effectively at this level. The role is responsible for leading the team and managing the company’s marketing strategy. Allied to this, the role will involve company branding, marketing of events and generating and managing a marketing strategy to drive customers to the brand and its products and services, creating a high value pipeline of Qualified Leads. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Leader to take ownership of a global business at a time of exciting change.

WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LEADING AND MANAGING A HIGH-PERFORMING MARKETING TEAM WITH THE RESULTS TO BACK IT UP:

  • You are proactive. In this role you will be responsible for suggesting, developing, implementing and managing the marketing delivery in Erlang Solutions. You will be the expert and the business will expect you to drive the function and deliver results.

  • You understand how to build and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns

  • You’re a master translator who can condense sophisticated marketing ideas in a way that is easy to understand for our developers and business team and convert the goals of the various leaders into marketing tactics
  • You have experience with SEO best practices, managing a Wordpress site, and brand social media accounts
  • You’re highly organised and able to manage conflicting deadlines
  • You have excellent verbal communication and project management skills
  • You are highly collaborative and have the ability to work with stakeholders of all backgrounds and levels
  • You have a strong executive presence
  • You have experience sourcing and managing a bench of freelancers/ agencies
  • You have an obsessive attention to detail and high bar for quality
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, nuance and building programs from scratch
  • You have a proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving mindset - “I’ll figure it out.”
  • You thrive in a small, growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising
  • 5+ years experience in marketing with at least 2+ years of management experience
  • Experience managing a team of 3 or more
  • Experience working in a tech B2B environment
