Description

CHERRY VENTURES IS SUPPORTING OUR PORTFOLIO WITH THIS HIRE

Description
Engineering software marketing is stuck in the past. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader who can change that without loosing what makes engineering buyers trust you. This role is about building something new in a traditionally conservative space.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing function and help us redefine what engineering software marketing looks like. You’ll own Synera’s entire marketing function across Europe and the US, setting the strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute. We’re not looking for a corporate operator — we’re hiring a pragmatic builder with a founder’s mindset who’s ready to shape a new category.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a marketing team in one of the most exciting phases of our growth. You’ll work closely with Moritz, our CEO, and the entire leadership team to establish Synera as the leading Agent Platform for Engineering in both the US and European markets.

What you will do:

  • Own and lead Synera’s global marketing function across strategy, execution, and performance.
  • Define and grow the new category of Agent Platform for Engineering, making Synera the clear leader in the space.
  • Ramp up marketing in the US and drive expansion by localizing messaging, identifying strategic channels and building regional campaigns.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our CEO and VP Sales on GTM planning, pipeline goals and campaign priorities across both the EU and US.
  • Build and execute a compelling content strategy that communicates our value across the full buyer journey.
  • Own marketing automation, CRM, and operations — optimizing systems for scale and performance tracking.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and gather customer insights to shape messaging, campaigns, and product positioning.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team of 5 across product marketing, demand generation and content.

Even if you don’t meet these criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it’s tough, but please keep in mind that you don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.

  • You have a proven track record in B2B enterprise software marketing and sales enablement, ideally in technical industries like engineering or automation (think CAD, CAE, PLM).
  • You’ve successfully scaled VC-backed startups from Series A to €20M+ ARR — even better if you’ve done it more than once.
  • You’ve led the expansion of a European company into the US and know how to navigate both markets with confidence.
  • You’re a hands-on marketing leader — you can define category positioning and write a landing page headline.
  • You bring cultural fluency — knowing when to move fast, when to align, and how to earn trust across both EU and US enterprise environments.
  • You are a data-driven decision-maker with experience in marketing ops, automation tools (e.g. HubSpot) and full-funnel analytics.
  • This is a builder role for someone with startup DNA, strong technical curiosity, and comfortable going 0 to 1. Not suited for corporate operators or passive managers
