As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Head of Marketing to lead its marketing function on a 12-month interim basis to cover maternity leave. This is a hands-on yet strategic role where you’ll shape and deliver the marketing strategy, ensuring marketing directly drives business growth. You’ll lead the charge in optimising digital channels, embedding CRM and marketing automation, and improving how the company captures, nurtures, and converts leads. Head of Marketing, the role: Lead all marketing activity, serving as the central point of contact for the function. Develop, implement, and measure the marketing strategy to support business growth and revenue targets. Report regularly to the CEO on marketing performance, ROI, and key opportunities. Review and optimise existing paid digital campaigns (Google and Microsoft Ads) with the external agency. Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and continuously improve lead quality and conversion. Identify opportunities to diversify digital marketing channels and content strategies. Lead the integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the website and all lead capture points. Implement lead scoring, segmentation, and automated nurture workflows to streamline processes. Maintain accurate CRM data and develop dashboards to visualise pipeline performance. Establish benchmarks for cost per lead, lead-to-sale conversion, and channel ROI. Provide regular insight reports to the leadership team, translating data into clear commercial recommendations. Continuously identify ways to improve efficiency and marketing impact across all channels. Head of Marketing, the person: Proven experience managing a full marketing function, ideally within a B2B environment. Strong background in digital marketing, CRM integration, and lead generation. Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and platforms (Dynamics preferred). Confident using web analytics tools such as GA4 and Tag Manager. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness. Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
