We’re now looking for a Head of Marketing to lead and optimise our marketing function as we enter our next phase of growth. You’ll oversee all of marketing, responsible for both acquisition and retention activities across multiple markets, channels and teams. About the Role Own the full marketing and acquisition strategy across all channels (SEO, PPC, email, events, social) and regions (UK, USA, Ireland, France) Set, track and deliver on lead and opportunity targets, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality, sales-ready opportunities Define and manage brand positioning, tone of voice and global messaging, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across every channel and geography Manage a modest marketing budget and optimise CAC to deliver sustainable growth, championing organic growth strategies including content, SEO and community initiatives Lead, inspire and develop a 10-person marketing team across content, social, events, PPC and SEO, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and high performance Drive product-led growth through compelling product storytelling, competitive intelligence and by influencing go-to-market strategies and channel mix. Deliver accurate forecasts, reports and performance dashboards, measuring ROI across all channels and ensuring alignment with SLT and company-wide priorities Partner closely with C-level stakeholders (with the CEO as a key collaborator) to refine strategy and deliver results against business objectives Collaborate with Product, Data, CX, Sales and Partnerships to deliver cohesive strategies and campaigns that increase product usage and engagement, driving stronger activation, adoption and retention Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will have a progression path toward a Senior Leadership Team seat Lead brand establishment, competitive positioning and demand generation strategy in the US, ensuring SeedLegals is recognised as the category leader in a key new market Own the strategic marketing direction of the SeedLegals Startup Awards and The Pitch events, amplifying brand awareness, community engagement and revenue growth You may also be required to undertake other duties from time to time as reasonably required. Proven experience leading marketing in a fast-paced B2B tech or SaaS startup environment, ideally at Head of Marketing level or above, with experience scaling a startup to scaleup Data-driven marketer with a track record of scaling multi-channel customer acquisition, including organic strategies that deliver measurable growth, and experience managing budgets and reporting on key metrics such as CAC, ROI, LTV, and conversion rates Experienced team leader who can motivate, nurture, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team through implementation of career pathways and performance criteria to support team development Strong strategic thinker able to align campaigns across the team, maintain a forward-looking vision, and set direction over a longer timeframe while navigating a fast-paced and shifting environment Ability to quickly grasp complex or technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling marketing strategies and messaging Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach — able to move seamlessly between planning and execution Hands-on, test-and-learn approach with a passion for experimentation and innovation Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot, GA4, etc.) and experience leveraging AI and automation tools to optimise processes, drive innovation, and scale marketing impact Passion for the startup ecosystem and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving scaleup environment This is a hybrid role based out of our London office, with regular weekly in-person collaboration expected Nice to have but not essential: Experience expanding into international markets Prior exposure to legaltech, fintech or other regulated industries Knowledge of the fundraising and startup investment lands We may request to view portfolio work during the recruitment process.
