Let your talents shine brightly! As Head of Merchandise Planning, you will be the analytical conscience of purchasing and planning. But perhaps even more interesting is that you can professionalize this role to an even higher level. We are looking for someone who has the strategic insight to optimize processes, who will further expand and professionalize the team and in addition to this, who is going to strengthen the partnership with procurement. Furthermore, you are responsible to execute the purpose by accurate and in-depth analysis of the sales and market figures to create the budgets for buying. You suggest the number of options, pieces, depth, and buying value per product group, you discuss pricing and you are responsible for the end margin and ending inventory. In this way, you make sure to have the right stock with the right prices at the right moment to have the right newness to inspire the fashion minded.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the strategic development and performance of the Planning department
  • Work to improve the planning processes, and the ways of working, in line with LOAVIES’ overall governance
  • Setting the strategy on assortment together with planning and buying colleagues
  • Good quality buying budget: you create it, you own it, and you control it
  • Forecasting + periodic reporting on sales, turnover, margin, stock, and intake
  • Timely input for cash flow and P&L purposes
  • Providing structure to the planning and buying team to make sure we have the right product in the right quantities at the right moment
  • Analysis of margin, returns, and stock optimization
