Responsibilities: Strategy and Planning * Implement business strategies in positioning the Bank as one of the leading regional financiers. * Implement initiatives to enhance the performance of relationship management and sales teams to maximise local opportunities. * Achieve key objectives, financial and other performance measures for the department * Keep abreast of the Singapore’s market landscape in order to be able to take actions to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate threats * Provide advice and support to Head, Commercial Banking Singapore to achieve overall business objectives * Drive P&L growth, customer portfolio growth for Commercial Banking Singapore, including driving cross selling efforts, to ensure that CIMB Singapore’s aspiration (inclusive of Revenue and Profitability) are met. Business Performance and Management * Implement sales plans to grow commercial business and increase revenue through business network in Singapore. * Develop and maintain key relationships with the external business partners. * Participate in the development of commercial banking products. * Proactively manage credit and operational risks to minimise loan and operational losses, including streamlining business’ process and cost control. People Management * Champion a strong service culture in enhancing customer experience and developing overall brand equity for the Commercial Banking Singapore * Promote staff welfare/ training/ development Regulatory Compliance * Have a good understanding of the relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to commercial banking in Singapore * Responsible for ensuring the commercial business and operations in accordance with all relevant Singapore laws and regulations * Adheres to risk management practices and minimize regulatory breaches. * Any other responsibilities/ task as assigned by management from time to time.

Responsibilities

Lead the Middle Corporation segment in Singapore to drive P&L growth and expand the customer portfolio through strategic planning and sales initiatives. Manage relationship managers and ensure all operations comply with Singapore's banking laws and risk management practices.
