YOU AND YOUR JOB

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader with a T-shaped profile and a proven track record in leading leaders. This role requires a strategic thinker with innovative problem-solving skills and extensive exposure to various risk types and lines of defense. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of skills that include leadership, influence, project management, strategic planning, people management, business acumen, and cross-domain collaboration. You will be adept at thinking outside the box to continuously improve the MRM strategy while being flexible and thriving in ambiguity and uncertainty.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Hold a master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Finance).
  • Have extensive experience (12+ years) in banking and risk.
  • Have transformation/change leadership experience.
  • Have experience across the three lines of defense: business, model development, validation, and/or audit within the relevant field.
  • Show leadership expertise in cross-risk and emerging risks such as ESG and AI and their impact on model risk next to existing risk such as Conduct, Fraud, Transaction Monitoring or Credit Risk.
  • Able to bridge regulations and policies with business enablement.
  • Able to connect the dots, bridge silos, and maintain a helicopter view.
  • Have an excellent command of English.
  • A consulting background is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Exhibit balanced senior leadership by fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement to drive high-performance teams and bring out the best in people.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders by acting as a trusted strategic advisor to mature MRM and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
  • Promote innovation by encouraging novel approaches to model validation and governance, leveraging advanced analytical techniques.
  • Support MRM strategy by collaborating with senior peers to develop and execute the MRM strategy in line with the OneCRO vision.
