OVERVIEW

Rico Facilities Limited is seeking a skilled and adaptable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across various properties managed by the company whilst project managing multiple projects simultaneously . We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual who can address diverse maintenance challenges with expertise and efficiency with strong leadership managing a team of 6 engineers.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally within a facilities management or multi-trade environment.
  • Strong proficiency in several trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and decorating.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work within deadlines.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage a team of Engineers to deliver projects.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites across the UK
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are advantageous.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK Driving License. Maximum 6 points preferred.
  • Basic tools (to be inspected during the interview).
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (carried out by the company).
  • Willingness to travel and work away.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to identify and resolve property issues promptly.
  • Perform multi-trade repairs and troubleshooting, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating etc…
  • Ensure high standards in painting and decorating for both interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
  • Accurately record details of maintenance activities, including completed work, materials used, and time spent.
  • Manage team members and external contractors to deliver larger or specialized projects.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
  • Must be willing to work away.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Must have own Vehicle
