Grade Level: L5 Location: Islamabad Last Date to Apply: 11 November 2025 What is the Head of New Business Development? The NBD team is a key unit within the Strategy Division, responsible for scoping, evaluating, and incubating strategic new business opportunities across the Telco & Digital ecosystem. Such opportunities may include a) amplifying our current focus areas and/or b) pursuing new growth areas. The role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and has at least 2 full-time direct reports and a larger team. What does the Head of NBD do? Have a strategic, and multi-sectoral view on the digital landscape and accompanying market opportunities, trends, and dynamics Being able to create a structure and prioritization framework in terms of identifying, assessing, and/or incubating new opportunities- including optimal financing options Leading a team responsible for strategic planning and execution of new business venture projects, including identifying potential target companies, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and value creation Ensure robust coordination with stakeholders and work closely with senior leadership, BoD, project team members, and enable prompt execution and delivery of high-value initiatives Foster a culture of innovation and leadership within the organization by encouraging creative thinking, experimentation, and the pursuit of disruptive ideas. At least 15 years of experience in strategy, digital and/or consulting roles (preferably in digital/telecom/fintech/ technology industry) Decent command of financial models needed for evaluation and prioritization Experience, ideally, with the ‘big 4’ strategic advisory and consulting roles would be a plus Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks Proven track record of success in driving strategic growth initiatives, preferably within the tech space Why Join Jazz?
