You’ll shape and lead Bupa Global’s healthcare provider network strategy in Asia, making sure our customers can access high‑quality, affordable care when they need it most. By building strong relationships with hospitals, third‑party administrators and partners, you’ll help us manage healthcare costs responsibly while protecting clinical quality and customer experience. This is a senior leadership role with real influence — combining strategy, commercial insight and people leadership — and offering the opportunity to make a tangible difference to millions of customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities In this role you’ll be responsible for: Developing and delivering the provider network strategy across Asia in line with Bupa Global’s Healthcare Management strategy. Researching healthcare markets to identify the right approach to contracting, including direct contracts, network access agreements and third‑party partnerships. Leading negotiations with hospitals, provider groups and partners to secure high‑quality care and strong value for money. Managing regional healthcare spend, helping to control medical inflation and claims costs. Overseeing provider performance, contract compliance and service quality, acting as an escalation point when needed. Supporting fraud prevention activity and maintaining strong governance and risk controls. Leading and developing the regional Network team, creating a positive performance culture and strong employee engagement. Working closely with internal teams across claims, operations and healthcare management to deliver joined‑up outcomes. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and empathy. You’ll likely have: A degree or equivalent professional experience. Strong knowledge of the healthcare or health insurance sector, ideally with experience in Asia Pacific markets. Proven experience in provider network management, contracting or hospital management. A strong commercial mindset, with confidence leading complex negotiations at senior level. Experience managing teams and building high performing, engaged colleagues. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across cultures and regions. Fluency in English; Cantonese is highly desirable, and Mandarin is an advantage.
