JOB SUMMARY

Quality Childcare & Education (QCE) Nurseries is a privately-owned & managed group of exceptional Early Years nursery settings across the Birmingham and West Midlands led by an executive management team with over 50 years of experience within the education sector. Our nurseries have been at the heart of the communities they serve for over two decades – providing generation after generation not only with childcare but a leading Early Years Education and a focus on curriculum that puts every child at the heart of what we do.
We are currently recruiting for a Head of Nursery at one of our settings in the Hagley area. Our settings are all rated GOOD at our latest inspections, which demonstrates our staff’s commitment to giving our children the very best childcare and early years education. The successful candidate will hold at least a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification although candidates with a Degree Level qualification are desired.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven leadership experience in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and development.
