Description

Risk Manager (m/f/d)

People all over the world rely on cousins.

We are counting on you:

  • They are responsible for continuously aligning insurance coverage with the company's risk profile. This involves evaluating existing coverage, identifying areas for improvement, and developing cost-effective solutions for hedging, transferring, or consciously assuming risks themselves.
  • They manage the entire insurance portfolio throughout its lifecycle, handle contract renewals and market inquiries, evaluate existing and new insurance solutions, and ensure an economical and risk-appropriate design of insurance coverage.
  • They analyze corporate risks in close coordination with the specialist departments, support the further development of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and contribute to deriving suitable measures for risk management and resilience enhancement.
  • They participate in the planning, execution, and follow-up of risk analyses, business impact analyses, emergency and recovery concepts, and insurance audits, and coordinate the implementation of corresponding measures with the relevant departments and locations.
  • As the central point of contact, you will coordinate cooperation with external partners, especially insurance brokers, monitor agreed services, and drive the successful implementation of joint projects and improvement measures.
  • Furthermore, you will support the further development of Business Continuity Management (BCM), contribute to reports and management reviews, and promote a sustainable risk, resilience, and insurance culture within the company.

Here's how to complete our team:

  • With your successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, business law, safety engineering or a comparable field of study
  • They possess strong analytical skills, quickly recognize connections, and can prepare and communicate complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target audience.
  • They are characterized by a good technical and business understanding and have the ability to evaluate insurance-related issues in a corporate context.
  • You impress with your strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and structured and independent work style, and you move confidently in an environment with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
