Job Description We seek to appoint an enterprising executive with a finance or commercial business management background and a growth mindset to be a key member of the Australian Executive team. Partnering with our Service Line Managing Directors, the Head of Operations identifies opportunities for operational excellence, performance improvements and enhancing productivity to ensure revenue and EBITDA growth across Australia. Key Result Areas: 1. Lead the development and execution of the Australian business plan, which underpins our Global Enterprise ’30 plan, considering: New or enhanced systems Organisational structures Business enhancing solutions Profit growth Budget commitments. 2. Lead and oversee business activities to ensure efficient processes that are aligned with our company goals, considering: Premises and property strategy Technology Systems Performance metrics, analysing operations to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement, and recommended solutions. 3. Identify and monitor areas of risk, and develop and enact policies to reduce exposure, collaborating with CFO and Head of Legal. 4. Be a key member in the due diligence and integration phases of M&A opportunities. 5. Lead a high functioning National Administration service line that is responsible for procurement, workplace experience and events. Qualifications What are the qualifications we seek? CA, CPA, CFA, Masters in Finance or MBA is preferred. Alternatively, higher qualifications in Engineering or other areas of quantitative reasoning are encouraged. Strong financial, numerical, and commercial analysis skillset. Who is the right person? This role is a fast-tracked opportunity to executive leadership for a high performing mid-career professional with a minimum of 10 years professional experience that includes Management Consulting, Professional Services, Financial Services, Engineering or Property. The role will suit a practical, logical thinker with a bias for action and a passion for organisational performance and leadership. This person can combine theory and models with effective project management and swift action backed by analysis and clear thinking.
