What the day will look like Operate as a member of the Subregional leadership team. Member of the Australia Executive and Board, holding key responsibilities as a director of a regulated board. Member APAC Operations Leadership Team with responsibility for Aon Business Services Operations within the subregion. Work with the APAC COO, Subregional CEO and subregional leadership team to develop and implement the strategy. Partner with Business Unit Leaders and Leadership Team to develop and deliver an effective target operating model which supports growth, efficiency and promotes innovation, in addition to driving improvements in the current operations. Strong communicator, with experience of developing business strategy and adept at providing creative solutions, overcoming difficult challenges and delivering efficient, risk considered, cost effective client focused operations. Support growth in revenue and profit ensuring delivery of short-term financial results and long-term financial goals. Collaborative people leader who creates followership and drives success through the development of a target orientated, high performance and diverse team. Lead the development of the operations strategy. Develop and drive a multi-year operational strategy (including technology, operations, D&A and Real Estate) that supports the overall business objectives, including achieving growth, margin, market share, KPI quality, colleague engagement and client experience targets. Design, own and deliver the global and regional operating model across all elements of Client Service Delivery, including processes, Platforms, embedding risk and compliance and Procurement processes. Partner with client, business and solution line leadership to support the client growth agenda enabling product delivery, pricing strategies through rigorous client segmentation. Work closely with the Subregional and country leadership to ensure costs and investments are tightly managed, driving operating income in line with plan. Support the development of M&A strategy with subregion CEO, subregion CCO and subregion CFO. Lead change management and transformation across the subregion Lead change management, transformation and the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver business results. Develop and own the change management agenda on behalf of the subregion. Work with the subregion CFO to manage investment priorities. Partner with subregion Leadership Team to develop the merger, divestments and acquisition agenda and lead operational integration activities. Champion innovation across the subregion. Operate as the leader of the Aon Business Services organization in the subregion Be an active member of the APAC Aon Business Services leadership team, shaping initiatives that have an impact on the subregion. Champion the creation and development of a unified Aon Business Services organization, including the build and use of a subregion Client Services Hub, unifying operational activity across subregion business, APAC and globally. Partner with Aon Business Services leaders and teams to fully leverage global teams (Operations, Technology, Procurement, Security and D&A) within the subregion. Create an effective governance model to enable Aon Business Services leaders to be able to operate across the subregion. Partner with the ABS team and people organization to develop career growth strategies for Operations colleagues through trainings, skillset upgrades and career development plans. Ensure that the subregion’s ABS Services team is diverse and ensure that teams operate in a unified way with an inclusive culture. Ensure the measurement and delivery of performance metrics in the subregion. Own and manage operational, client service delivery and technology costs (direct and allocated) within the subregion P&L. In conjunction with GSM, manage relationship with third party providers, resolving issues and drive more effective performance where needed. Ensure effective and compliant operating practice across the subregion Work with Leadership Team to ensure that effective processes are embedded across the subregion to ensure risk is managed, an effective control environment is in place and the subregion remains compliant with all regulations and corporate policies. Work with subregion and global functional leaders to ensure effective processes are in place. Act as the key interface between global functions and the subregion Ensure that Enterprise Risk Management practices are embedded in the subregion. Work with the Aon Internal Audit to understand potential risks within operating practices and ensure audit findings are closed quickly and effectively. Ensure that effective operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery planning is in place.
