Overview About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Operations, Automation and AI to lead the charge in building out the future of automation at Gallagher Bassett. This role is an incredible opportunity for an established operational leader with effective leadership skills, a passion for innovation, and a keen interest in AI and automation. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and value delivery across our operations. You will collaborate with our various business units, and divisions such as IT and BI, oversee project execution and establish governance frameworks to ensure the success of automation solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading projects, driving change, and shaping the future of operations in a fast-paced and evolving environment. How you'll make an impact Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a roadmap for automation and AI initiatives across Gallagher Bassett’s operations. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and service delivery through automation. Evaluate and integrate suitable technologies to address operational needs. Execution and Delivery: Lead the execution of automation projects in collaboration with IT, external vendors, and business units. Drive change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of automation solutions. Oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Governance and Collaboration: Establish governance frameworks to oversee automation rollout and ensure compliance. Collaborate with global teams to leverage best practices and maintain process consistency. Act as a key liaison between leadership, IT, and business units to drive alignment and execution. Awareness and Advocacy: Build awareness of automation solutions internally through showcases, training sessions, and communication strategies. Advocate for automation initiatives externally with clients and stakeholders. Key Attributes: Highly effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams. An innate understanding of business operations Experience and leadership expertise within the Insurance industry will be highly desirable A passion for innovation and a critical/forward-thinking mindset.
