JOB DESCRIPTION

You are responsible for managing Doka Norway’s Operations Department.
You’ll be coordinating and supervising Country Logistics, Commercial Office Management, Yard Operations Management as well as Procurement.
You will be an active member of the Management Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required (Education and Technical)

  • Experience with rental business
  • Experience and understanding of profit and loss responsibility
  • Comprehensive economical understanding
  • Management experience in Working Capital & Inventory Management, Demand Planning / Logistics and Yard Operations
  • Experience with Contract Management
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications especially advanced Excel

Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage the company’s Demand and Supply Planning, Transport Management, Commercial Office Management, Yard Operations Management as well as Procurement in all branches
  • Support the profitability targets of the country by ensuring all Operations KPIs in line with budget
  • Support all relevant departments for managing projects and providing analysis for decision support
  • Ensure optimized stock levels in line with working capital targets and excellent customer service levels
  • Ensure control of material exchange, optimization of material flow and control of material purchases
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing of all products & services and monthly closing of inventory
  • Handle all Operations-related customer complaints
  • Supervise physical inventory counts, quality control and the processing of rental material returns according to company standards
  • Plan and optimize staff and material cost
  • Provide plans for training & development to employees, with measures and regular follow ups
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Support) as well as with the Area Team Europe
  • Ensure continuous improvement and further develop internal standards within the area of responsibility
