Solidcor is an ambitious, fast-growing UK fire‑door manufacturer revolutionising social housing compliance. Founded in 2019 to raise safety standards in the wake of Grenfell, they’ve rapidly scaled thanks to their unique “10 day lead” methodology, bringing the fastest door set production in the industry and the most comprehensive certified options to market
This is not a “desk only” leadership role. We need someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, is decisive under pressure, and can lead from the front. Solidcor’s driven and open management structure means you’ll have the autonomy to make the right calls quickly, and the support to deliver lasting results.
You’ll be responsible for the entire operational value stream from demand planning and procurement through to production and despatch, ensuring the business consistently delivers on its 10-day promise to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and develop teams across Demand Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Despatch.
• 
  Maintain a strong daily presence on the shop floor and in planning forums.
• 
  Balance demand, supply, and capacity to hit production and delivery targets.
• 
  Embed performance metrics, daily/weekly reviews, and escalation processes.
• 
  Champion the effective use of ERP and planning tools for data-led decisions.
• 
  Standardise operational processes to reduce waste and improve flow.
• 
  Maintain accurate, auditable records across procurement, inventory, production, and despatch.
• 
  Monitor and improve key KPIs: OTIF delivery, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, supplier reliability, and cost efficiency.
