Crevel Europe is a fast-growing importer, distributor, and brand-building partner for international food and beverage brands across Europe. From our logistics hub in Hilden, we serve customers in 30+ countries through wholesale distribution, brand representation, value-added services, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Our operation combines classic warehousing with specialized services / pick & pack, pallet building & wrapping, multilingual labeling, display assembly, quality control, import coordination, and door-to-door logistics.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on, high-energy leader to take ownership of our European operations and drive the next phase of growth. You'll lead a team of experienced managers across operations, logistics, and value-added services, giving you the space to focus on strategy, standardization, and continuous improvement across the full operational footprint / not just one function.

This is a department head role, not a desk job. We want someone who leads from the floor as much as from the whiteboard / coaching managers, spotting inefficiencies, testing new ideas, and building a scalable operation that can grow with us. Given the hands-on nature of the role, this position is based on-site in Hilden.

What You'll Own

🔹 Overall leadership of Crevel's operations across Europe - warehousing, logistics, and value-added services

🔹 Direct leadership of our Operations, Logistics, and Warehouse Managers

🔹 KPI frameworks and performance culture across the operation (OTIF, picking & inventory accuracy, cost, productivity)

🔹 Transportation & logistics coordination with 3PLs, carriers, and freight forwarders across 30+ countries

🔹 Process improvement, automation, and digital tools - Lean/Kaizen mindset welcome

🔹 Close collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Customer Service, and Brand Management

What You Bring

✅ 7+ years in operations, logistics, supply chain, or distribution

✅ 3+ years leading managers or supervisors - ideally across multiple functions

✅ Based in or willing to relocate to the Hilden area - this is an on-site, hands-on role

✅ A genuine hands-on mindset - comfortable moving between strategy and the shop floor

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with pragmatism

✅ Curiosity for new technology, automation, and better ways of working

✅ Fluent English

Nice to Have

⭐ German and/or Spanish

⭐ Experience in food, FMCG, or wholesale distribution

⭐ Background in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment

⭐ WMS/ERP experience, Lean Six Sigma, or automation project experience
