Description Okoora is seeking a hands-on, highly structured Head of Operations to build and own our operational foundation from the ground up. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives on turning chaos into clarity - designing, implementing, and enforcing the systems that keep a fast-scaling fintech company running efficiently and predictably. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CFO and leadership team. Your mission is to establish the processes, tools, and governance that bring stability, control, and operational excellence across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities Build, document, and implement company-wide operational processes (Sales → Billing, Client Onboarding → Go-Live, Employee Lifecycle, IT, and Vendor Management). Establish ownership, accountability, and KPIs for every recurring process. Lead vendor and IT operations: manage external providers, contracts, and service quality; drive the replacement and onboarding of a new IT provider. Oversee internal operations: office logistics, HR operations, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and internal compliance. Create and maintain the company’s Operational Governance Framework – procedures, SLAs, and process documentation. Coordinate execution across departments to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery. Build a culture of ownership, documentation, and continuous improvement. Manage and mentor the Office Manager and future operations staff. We Offer A high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO. Requirements 5–10 years of experience in Operations / Project Management / BizOps, preferably in SaaS or Fintech companies (30–150 employees). Proven ability to establish and scale operational systems from scratch. Strong technical orientation – comfortable working with SaaS tools, CRMs, helpdesk, IT systems, and automation platforms. Excellent organizational and process-building skills. Hands-on operator who executes and follows up relentlessly – no tolerance for loose ends. High personal accountability and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Fluent in English (Hebrew a plus). Preferred Backgrounds Former Operations Manager or Director in a small-to-mid-size tech or fintech company. Technical Project Manager or IT Vendor Manager who transitioned into business operations. Former military or logistics background in operational / planning roles with civilian experience in tech or SaaS.
