Play your part in driving our collective success. YOUR ROLE As a Head of Operations Strategy & Excellence, you are working on the future of Vacheron Constantin’s Operations department. Reporting to the COO, you support all Operations teams (Supply Chain & Procurement, Research & Development, Production, Quality, Customer Service) and interface with all other departments of the Maison to increase the performance of Operations. You lead and mentor a team of Project Managers dedicated to driving transversal transformation or continuous improvement projects. Your mission is to foster a culture of Operational Excellence while ensuring our project roadmap aligns with the Maison and Operations strategy and is on track. PLAYING YOUR PART Operations Strategic Planning Work with Operations leadership to define and maintain the Operations strategy, yearly targets as well as the key projects to reach these targets Setup and facilitate the reporting framework for oversight of key projects and KPIs Operations Leadership Support Be a trusted partner to the Operations Leadership, able to discuss and challenge early-stage ideas with neutrality Provide support to organize key Operations event, from communications & townhalls to management seminars Team Leadership & Projects Oversight Oversee the team project portfolio from start to finish, ensuring delivery stays on time, within scope, and on budget, and results & impact are achieved. Manage the team's capacity to ensure high-priority projects have adequate resources Lead, coach, and develop the team of Project Managers, as a pool of talent able to take other roles within Operations or the Maison Operational Excellence Identify areas of improvement within Operations and suggest new initiatives to improve performance Continue developing and maintaining Operational Excellence standards and support all Operations teams in implementing them. Continue harmonizing project management methodologies across the operations team to ensure a consistent "way of working." WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL? Success in this role will require: 5+ years of experience in Operations or Consulting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing project managers or cross-functional teams Feel at ease with driving projects and cultural changes in a matrix organization With a relentless focus on Continuous Improvement, you combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive performance across our operations. You are never satisfied with "that’s how we’ve always done" and are constantly looking for ways to optimize Ability to dive deep into operational topics and identify root causes of complex issues Talent for translating detailed and complex matters into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both senior leadership and shop floor teams Proven ability to build trust and drive alignment across teams without direct reporting lines Solid knowledge of PMO tools and Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, or similar) Fluent in French and English, with additional language skills highly valued Vacheron Constantin celebrates 270 years as the world’s oldest watchmaker in continuous production since 1755.
