You’ll own and drive a world-class organic search strategy, ensuring Compare the Market leads the industry not only in SEO, but also in the evolving landscape of Generative AI-driven search. This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy, influence across the business, and deliver measurable commercial impact in a highly competitive digital environment. What you’ll be doing: * Lead the Organic Growth agenda across Compare the Market, building and inspiring a cross-functional team to achieve our ambition of being #1.   * Own and evolve our organic performance programme across Technical SEO, Content creation & optimisation, Link acquisition   * Drive holistic CRO strategies, leading testing initiatives across key products to improve traffic, engagement and conversion.   * Deliver against ambitious visibility, ranking, traffic and revenue targets across the full product portfolio.   * Act as a strategic partner across the business—educating, influencing and embedding best practices in SEO, CRO, UX/CX, content and site performance.   * Develop agile processes to respond to search engine and LLM algorithm updates, ensuring we stay ahead of industry shifts and adapt at pace.   * Maintain a relentless focus on execution and commercial outcomes in a highly competitive market.   * Manage and optimise a portfolio of external agencies, ensuring delivery at speed and quality.   * Build and maintain market-leading MI and reporting, leveraging competitor insights, tools and data to inform strategy and prioritisation.   What we’re looking for:  * Extensive experience in SEO, most recently as a senior organic search leader within a digital organisation.   * Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex organic growth programmes in high-traffic, competitive industries.   * Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy & optimisation, link acquisition and digital PR collaboration   * Strong understanding of the SEO tool ecosystem, with a well-developed industry network.   * Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing at all levels.   * Experience managing agency portfolios alongside in-house teams.   * Proven ability to navigate and recover from major algorithm updates with structured, data-led approaches.   * Solid knowledge of CRO methodologies and experimentation frameworks.   Why Compare the Market?  We’re a business built for pace and performance.
