WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This is an opportunity to lead the newly-formed Outsourcing CoE with Business Efficiency, playing a pivotal role in the development and execution of the Bank’s outsourcing strategy and delivering enhanced outsourcing outcomes for the Bank from a regulatory and performance perspective!

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and implement the outsourcing strategy aligned with the Bank’s Group Strategy in conjunction with key stakeholders; and create, execute and keep refreshed a roadmap for achieving the Bank’s strategic outsourcing target outcomes, ensuring appropriate funding is in place and all milestones are delivered in line with budget and agreed timelines.
  • Lead the measurement and oversight of benefits realisation arising from the implementation of the outsourcing strategy and mentor and develop a high-performing team of experts and professionals within the CoE.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of change management strategies to ensure the strategy is understood and implemented appropriately across the Bank.
  • Oversee the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Bank’s outsourcing footprints; and oversee the establishment and maintenance of a set of quality standards and protocols for all outsourcing arrangements across the lifecycle.
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of an up-to-date, comprehensive and robust outsourcing risk and controls environment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; and oversee the development, roll-out and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s Outsourcing Framework for the Group, including an annual review process and oversee the embedding of the Framework across the Group
  • Oversee the establishment of an assurance process and infrastructure to ensure compliance with the prescribed quality standards across divisional management of outsourcing
  • Ensure the Outsourcing Committee has a data-driven and holistic view of progress against strategy, status of the risk & controls environment and any other material outsourcing matters.
  • Oversee coordination of the Executive Outsourcing Committee with onward reporting to executive forums and board as required; represent the COE at the Outsourcing Committee; and lead constructive and effective challenge to the business areas on the monitoring and management of critical outsourced arrangements.
  • Engage with the Board at agreed intervals to share concise, data driven updates on status of outsourcing arrangements and provide updates on progress against the roadmap, including benefits realisation.
  • Engage with relevant regulatory bodies on strategic outsourcing matters, including representing the narrative on the Bank’s outsourcing roadmap and staying connected to the priorities as defined by the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior executives and colleagues across Business Efficiency, Procurement and Divisions, along with 2nd and 3rd LoD to deliver the Bank’s target outcomes, and serve as a trusted advisor to the Outsourcing Committee and members of senior management on strategic outsourcing matters.
