As the Head of Own Brand, you will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of our private label portfolio, combining category management, product development, and brand strategy. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative products, accelerate speed-to-market, and build a differentiated brand offering that resonates with customers. Your Strategic Impact... Define and execute the long-term product roadmap and brand architecture, informed by market trends, insights and competitor analysis Drive commercial performance, including sales, margin, customer penetration and market share Optimise pricing, promotions and marketing ROI through data-driven decision making Lead end-to-end product development, from concept and trend analysis through to launch Partner across merchandising, supply chain, quality, legal, brand and creative teams to ensure seamless execution Oversee packaging, branding and go-to-market strategies across retail and digital channels Lead supplier negotiations across local and international manufacturers, ensuring quality, cost and compliance standards Champion innovation, speed-to-market and continuous improvement Develop and implement brand playbooks and style guides to ensure consistency and impact Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver high performance and growth The expertise you’ll bring... 8+ years’ experience in category management, merchandising or product development, with strong own brand/private label exposure Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and product innovation Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, pricing and margin optimisation Experience managing complex supply chains and supplier negotiations A creative and strategic mindset, with a deep understanding of brand positioning and customer needs Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline Ready to lead and make the difference and you are as passionate about pets as we are, we’d love to hear from you — apply today!
