An exciting opportunity has become available for a newly created role for a motivated, self-driven Head of People and Culture to join My Guardian.
The Head of People and Culture will be a key part of the leadership team, operating in a fast paced environment, focusing on growth and driving a positive organisational culture.
This is a full-time role based in our Head Office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with My Guardian’s mission and business objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition, retention, and development programs to attract and nurture top talent.
  • Implement best-practice HR policies and compliance frameworks in line with Australian employment laws.
  • Oversee employee engagement programs, ensuring a positive work environment and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Drive leadership development and succession planning to support business growth.
  • Manage performance management and career progression frameworks to empower employees.
  • Enhance workplace culture and employer branding to position My Guardian as an employer of choice.
  • Oversee HR operations, including remuneration, benefits, and workplace health & safety policies.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head of People & Culture, HR Director, or Senior HR leader within the Aged Care Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • A track record of building and implementing people-focused strategies that drive engagement and performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for employee well-being, cultural transformation, and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
