It is about enabling impact As a member of OUA’s leadership group, the Head of People and Culture plays a critical role in helping to shape the culture that drives access to education. You will lead how we hire, develop and support our people, and how our culture shows up every day through leadership, collaboration, wellbeing and performance. Your work will ensure our people experience reflects our purpose and values, enabling our teams to do their best work in service of students and partners across Australia. You will: Lead the end-to-end people experience, from hiring and onboarding through to development, reward, wellbeing and transition Lead the Business Partnering practice to support people leaders across our varied groups Evolve our employee experience framework, using insight and data to continuously improve how work feels at OUA Champion leadership effectiveness and capability development across all levels Support the ongoing evolution of our organisation design with clear accountabilities to facilitate effective working relationships across the business, aligned to business drivers and future business needs. Lead wellbeing, mental health and safety practices that prioritise care, prevention and sustainable outcomes Build a diverse and inclusive talent strategy that strengthens our culture with every hire Grow and lead a high-performing People & Culture team known for trust, quality and impact The kind of leader we are looking for You are a people-centred, pragmatic leader who balances empathy with sound judgement. You are as comfortable shaping strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves when it matters.
