As our Head of People & Culture, you’ll take the lead in shaping and scaling our people strategy, encouraging an inspiring, supportive workplace, and ensuring our culture evolves with us. Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing People team that can support our rapid growth while maintaining a culture of trust, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Ensure our core values remain front and center as we scale. You’ll actively promote a high-performing workplace where employees feel valued and empowered.
  • Help create frameworks for performance management, career development, and leadership that support employees at every stage of their journey with us.
  • Manage compensation and benefits, and ensure all processes align with Dutch labor laws and CAO regulations.
  • Continuously improve engagement and retention using data-driven insights to ensure our employees feel heard, valued, and supported.
  • Drive efficiency across all People functions, from payroll and benefits to employee relations, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

We’re looking for a senior People & Culture professional who thrives in a high-growth environment and understands that great businesses are built on great people. You bring:

  • 7+ years of HR experience, with at least some experience in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record in scaling HR functions, ideally within a scale-up or high-growth company (300+ employees preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Project management experience within HR.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution skills – You know how to build frameworks but also how to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
  • A highly empathetic approach – You prioritize people, understand diverse perspectives, and create an environment where employees feel valued and supported.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills – You leverage data to shape strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with scaling across multiple countries is a strong plus.
  • Current residency in the Netherlands or willing to relocate (as this is not a remote position).
  • Fluency in Dutch (preferred) and English communication skills.
