Whilst Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for our next Head of People & Culture. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be building and executing our People strategy, continuously optimizing our People Operations and taking our recruitment to the next level, whilst managing our fantastic People team.

This role of Head of People & Culture is based at our Amsterdam office and a full time (40 hours) role (part time can be discussed). We are a remote-friendly company, which means you’re free to work from home or any location that suits you. However, for this role, we value in-person collaboration and visibility and therefore ask that you work from the office at least once a week.

Responsibilities

In this role you will manage a team of 3 enthusiastic HR professionals (HR Officer / HR Business Partner/ HR Specialist (based in Colombia), 2 recruiters and you are responsible for facilities in which our office manager fantastically supports you. You will also be a key advisor to the Board (2 CEOs, VP of Finance, CRO).
With the successful rollout of our rewards framework and further optimization of performance management, we’re entering the next phase: focusing on how we can continue to develop our team and ensure our tech stack within the People team is set up as efficiently as possible.

In outline, you focus on:

  • Managing and coaching our high performing team of People Professionals
  • Ensuring operational excellence, and an optimal and flawless user experience
  • Further expanding the HR analytics needed to drive performance and engagement and to increase retention
  • Coach and support our managers alongside the HRBP
  • Be a trusted advisor for senior management.
