KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in HR leadership roles within multinational or complex organizational environments.
  • Proven expertise in talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, and cultural transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Chile and Latin America.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in change management, strategic workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High integrity, adaptability, and resilience in dynamic environments.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and digital HR tools.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As Head of People & Culture for Volvo Chile, you will be responsible for setting the People & Culture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a strong, people-centered organization. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the company’s culture, supporting leadership teams, and driving engagement and performance.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Strategic Business Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to the management team, providing strategic HR guidance and solutions.
  • People & Culture Strategy: Develop and implement People & Culture strategies that support business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Drive talent management initiatives, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Employee Experience & Culture: Champion Volvo’s values, ensuring a strong, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture.
  • Compliance & Labor Relations: Ensure adherence to labor laws, government regulations, and Volvo Group policies.
  • Change Management & Organizational Development: Lead transformation efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Health, Safety & Well-being: Oversee workplace safety, well-being initiatives, Management systems and environmental health policies.
  • Workforce Planning & HR Operations: Support workforce planning efforts, optimize HR operations, and manage external partnerships.
