At new soul, we sell our people's time. Every massage, every appointment, every euro in revenue depends on having the right people, well-trained, in the right studio at the right time. For us, "People" isn't a support function, but a core function of our operations – like the supply chain in a logistics company.

Specifically, this means we hire an average of 30 people per month. We organize monthly training sessions in every city. We handle all payroll in-house. It's a machine that needs to run smoothly – and it gets faster and more complex with every new studio.

We are looking for a structured problem solver who can take over this machine, understand it, and scale it – while simultaneously cultivating a culture where people feel comfortable and stay. For us, these two things go hand in hand: without good processes, there is no good culture, and without a good culture, even the best processes are ineffective.

Your tasks

You lead the People team with approximately 5 FTEs and 3 student employees in three areas:

• Recruiting : Approximately 30 hires per month, primarily massage therapists and receptionists. Pipeline, funnel metrics, time-to-hire, quality of hires – this is your control system.
• Training / Onboarding / Academy : Monthly training sessions per city, onboarding processes, quality standards. Anyone starting with us must quickly and reliably reach a high level.
• People Operations & Payroll : Personio, shift planning interfaces, contracts, in-house payroll processing, compliance.

Over and beyond:

• You build processes, KPIs and systems that work with 30 hires per month – and still work with 60.
• You are the interface to operations, studio management and the founding team, translating growth plans into staffing needs.
• You drive automation and tooling forward (including Personio, Staffomatic, HubSpot and AI-powered workflows).
• You develop your team – both professionally and as a leader.

This is what you bring with you

• You come from a staff position in a high-growth start-up (Founders Associate, Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Strategy) and/or from management consulting.
• You are keen to develop your skills in the People field – or ideally, you already have some initial experience in this area (Recruiting, HR Ops, People Analytics).
• You think in terms of processes, key performance indicators, and bottlenecks. You know where a pipeline will stall before it actually stalls.
• You held operational responsibility: projects with many participants, tough deadlines and real pressure to deliver results.
• You can lead people without hiding behind hierarchy – and ideally, you have already led a small team.
• You speak fluent German and English.
• Bonus: Experience with payroll, labor law or service-oriented business models with high personnel volume (gastronomy, retail, fitness, healthcare).
