As we continue to grow our global presence, we’re looking for a performance marketing leader to elevate the effectiveness of our digital investment across markets. We’re entering an exciting new phase as we expand our presence in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland into a state-of-the-art three-site campus—our new Global HQ in Penrose (a great new location for easier commuting), our Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki, and our world-leading Global Experience Centre in Grey Lynn. The Opportunity Soon to be located at our new Penrose HQ, we’re looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to join our Global Marketing team, leading Paid Social, SEM and Programmatic to drive measurable commercial outcomes through world-class performance media, marketing technology, and insight-led optimisation. What you’ll do Own global performance marketing strategy and execution across Paid Social, SEM and Programmatic, aligned to brand and business objectives. Lead and coach a small high-performing team of Paid Social, SEM and Programmatic specialists (and partner closely with in-market teams and agencies). Build global frameworks for media planning, measurement, testing, and optimisation—translating insight into action. Work cross-functionally with global functions and in-market teams to build tangible channel plans and support broader marketing activity to optimise performance to objectives and maximise ROI. Strengthen measurement, reporting and attribution (GA4/Looker), linking media performance to marketing objectives and commercial outcomes. Develop and activate retargeting and customer journey optimisation approaches that lift efficiency and conversion. Own and evolve the marketing tech stack and champion automation/AI to improve speed, quality, and scale. Manage key platform partnerships (e.g., Google, Meta) and ensure privacy-first measurement and compliance. What you’ll bring You’re an experienced digital performance marketing leader who can blend data, strategy, and execution to deliver measurable outcomes—through capabilities such as: Translating strategy into clear plans, aligning stakeholders for effective execution, and optimising performance using data and insight. Bringing deep expertise in Google Ads/SA360, GA4, and Google Tag Manager, with a strong understanding of measurement, tagging, and dashboards (Looker experience a plus). Demonstrated capability leading teams operating across PPC, Display/Programmatic, and performance social, and confidently guiding them to optimise campaigns and budgets aligned to brand objectives. Applying strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills to clearly communicate performance, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leaders. Drawing on experience in eCommerce or customer-facing digital environments, ideally across multiple markets. What we offer Competitive salary and hybrid working.
