Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



    • Owning the paid marketing strategy across paid search, social media, affiliate marketing, and other performance-driven channels.

    • Driving innovation to optimise customer acquisition, revenue growth, and return on investment (ROI).Analysing and optimising campaign performance to ensure maximum impact and efficiency.
    • Overseeing the end-to-end execution of paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, and Meta.
    • Creating and presenting regular reports to executive leadership on campaign performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations for growth.
    • Managing the performance marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise profitability.
    • Leading A/B testing initiatives to experiment with different campaign elements (copy, creatives, bidding strategies, landing pages) to continually optimise performance.
    • Leveraging analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tableau to evaluate results and inform strategic decisions.
    • Leading, mentoring, and developing the Performance Marketing team, fostering a data-driven culture of success.
    • Collaborating with team members to ensure campaigns are implemented, optimised, and aligned with business objectives.
    • Identifying new growth opportunities, such as testing emerging platforms and experimenting with new ad formats.
    • Staying informed on industry trends and algorithm updates to maintain a competitive edge in digital marketing.
    • Partnering with Engineering and Marketing to deliver campaigns and ensure alignment with promotions.
    • Implementing tools and processes to streamline marketing operations and scale efforts effectively.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key advertising platforms and partners to stay ahead of new opportunities and best practices.
    • Developing and enforcing best practices to enhance the effectiveness of paid marketing initiatives.

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD BE:



      • University degree qualified in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar).

      • Experienced in leading performance marketing strategies across paid search, social media, affiliate marketing, and other performance-driven channels, preferably within a Retail or eCommerce environment.
      • Passionate about digital marketing and consumer behaviour, with a focus on optimising customer acquisition and improving ROI.
      • Highly analytical and data-driven, ready to delve into campaign performance and make informed recommendations to drive results.
      • Proficient with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar) and experienced in leveraging insights to inform strategies.
      • A strong multitasker, able to manage multiple campaigns, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously without losing focus or quality.
      • Skilled in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring effective resource allocation across channels to maximise profitability.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data modelling) – and yes, we’ll put your capabilities to the test!
      • Comfortable working with and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, with excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate data-driven insights and strategies effectively.
