And we’re looking for a Head of Pricing to join our team and embark on this journey with us.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Here’s the experience we are looking for:

  • Senior Expert/Leader with D2C E-Commerce Scale-Up experience
  • Management Consulting Experience (ideally focused on pricing topics)
  • Very strong applied quantitative and qualitative statistics experience
  • Tech collaboration and roadmapping experience
  • Dynamic pricing experience
  • Leadership and team development experience
  • Strong quantitative academic background: MSc/PhD in Economic Sciences, Engineering, Psychology, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Shape our Pricing Strategy


    • You will develop, implement, and continuously steer pricing strategies that optimize consumer pricing to maximize overall profitability

    • You will generate & leverage insights around price elasticities via A/B testing, benchmarking, and other research methods Advance our Discount Strategy
    • You will shape our promotion approach to acquire and retain customers, while maximizing bottom-line. You will define promo guardrails and calendars for different channels, customers segments, destinations and seasonal moments
    • Establish strategic pricing capabilities and drive Continuous Optimization


      • You will establish dynamic pricing capabilities, considering margins, item characteristics, conversion rates, time to travel, occupancy rates and many other factors

      • You will establish flexible promotion capabilities on destination and trip level
      • You will continuously optimize our pricing and discount architecture and tactics based on market dynamics (consumer and competition) and business needs
      • Be a Key Stakeholder


        • You will team up with Product & Tech teams to establish pricing & discount capabilities

        • You will be closely collaborating with CRM, Paid Growth, Organic Growth, Influencer and Brand teams to implement promotion campaigns, reduce customer acquisition costs and lift customer loyalty
        • You will align strategic decisions with Tourlane’s CEO, CFO and Marketing VP as well as other key stakeholders (e.g. Product, Sales, Supply leadership)
        • You will be part of our global Marketing leadership team
