AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR AN EXPERIENCED SENIOR PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR TO LEAD AND DEVELOP A WELL-ESTABLISHED PRIVATE CLIENT DEPARTMENT.

My client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual with extensive expertise in non-contentious Private Client matters and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years’ PQE in Private Client law
  • Proven experience in handling a broad range of non-contentious Private Client matters
  • Demonstrable leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and support junior team members
  • Strong business development acumen with a track record of growing a department or client base
  • Exceptional client care skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships
  • STEP qualification or working towards STEP membership (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and managing the Private Client department, ensuring high-quality legal advice and client care
  • Advising clients on a full range of Private Client matters, including:
  • Wills and Estate Planning
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Deputyships
  • Probate and Administration of Estates
  • Trusts
  • Tax and Estate Planning
  • General elderly client advice
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Business development and marketing to drive growth and enhance the firm’s Private Client offering
  • Managing client relationships and handling complex or high-value cases with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Keeping up to date with changes in relevant legislation and case law
