Head of Procurement Operations Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement Operations to join our Procurement team. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for defining, standardizing, and leading the end-to-end operational execution of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle across a complex, multi-entity global business. The primary purpose of this role is to drive operational excellence, standardization, and flawless service delivery across all procurement activities. The team is a high-performing global organization situated across international hubs in Colombia and India, providing centralized support for worldwide procurement. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will: Lead and Standardize Global Operations: Define, own, and drive process harmonization for the global Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle—from requisition to Purchase Order (PO) generation—while ensuring high compliance, accuracy, and cycle-time efficiency across all international hubs. Develop and Govern the P2P Team: Source, develop, and mentor a high-performing, geographically dispersed team, defining staffing models and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational performance. Manage Risk and Ensure Compliance: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure all procurement operations comply with accounting standards, local and global tax rules, legal requirements, and corporate governance, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks like fraud or incorrect payments. What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Procurement or Global Shared Services, with a significant focus on managing the end-to-end P2P lifecycle and 5+ years managing geographically dispersed, multi-cultural teams. Strong knowledge of major P2P technology solutions (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Fusion) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with deep expertise in Finance/Accounting and Reporting. Proven ability in navigating complex global operations, including implementing processes that account for multiple entities, tax regulations, international legal frameworks, and effective stakeholder management. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus. What We Offer Opportunity to be part of an ever-evolving global organization focused on transformation and innovation. A culture of belonging in which you are encouraged to use your voice.
