Why this role exists As GWA accelerates its five‑year strategy, our Water Solutions portfolio is entering a critical phase of expansion. This role will lead the shift from a traditional product‑led model to a solutions‑led, services‑enabled, recurring revenue business. You will define where we play, what we build, how we win, and how we monetise. This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial leadership role operating within a large enterprise, offering the pace and autonomy of a start‑up with the backing, scale and credibility of an established organisation. What you will do You will own the end‑to‑end product and commercialisation agenda and bring it to life through action, influence and delivery. This includes: Scanning the market relentlessly to identify smart, connected and solution‑based water opportunities across residential, commercial and institutional segments. Deeply understanding customers, uncovering real pain points through research, interviews and partner engagement, and validating where value truly lies. Designing compelling commercial models, including pricing, installation, service, maintenance and subscription or recurring revenue streams. Shaping and optimising the portfolio, making clear calls on what to scale, improve, pivot or exit. Building and owning a multi‑year roadmap that balances near‑term revenue with long‑term platform and ecosystem bets. Leading go‑to‑market strategy and execution, personally driving value propositions, positioning, solution narratives and sales enablement. Defining operating models that ensure solutions can be sold, installed, supported and maintained at scale. Applying a constructive lens to ways of working, bringing clarity, structure and commercial discipline to complex, ambiguous problems. Acting as a dynamic connector, building strong relationships across Innovation, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales. What success looks like In this role, success is visible and tangible. You will deliver: A clearly defined, market‑validated Water Solutions opportunity portfolio. Profitable, scalable solutions with sustainable recurring revenue. A credible multi-year roadmap aligned to organisational capability. Strong external validation from customers and partners. A reputation for GWA as a market maker in smart and connected water solutions. About you You are commercially savvy, externally focused and energised by opportunity. You are comfortable being hands‑on, influencing without authority, and operating in environments where the path forward is not always clear. You will bring: Senior experience in product, growth or commercial strategy, ideally in solution‑led or services‑based businesses. Proven ability to move from market insight through to product definition and go‑to‑market execution. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience designing and scaling new revenue models. Experience operating in start‑up or high‑ambiguity environments, either standalone or within a larger organisation. Exposure to smart, connected, digital or IoT‑adjacent solutions, or similarly complex ecosystems. A curious, entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and a bias to action. A relevant degree, with postgraduate or product/innovation credentials welcomed but not essential. Why join us?
