About the company:A high-growth, Australian-headquartered fintech with global roots, rethinking how small businesses access capital.
Technology, data and automation are at the heart of the business. They’ve already transformed the lending experience and delivered a world-first innovation in business lending. They’re scaling, ambitious, and tackling a huge market.
Now the question is: what comes next?
About the role - This is not your normal product leadership role.As the first internal product leadership hire, you’ll have the opportunity to build the product function, make it your own and help shape where the business goes next.
The focus is heavily on strategy, customer experience and commercial opportunity, rather than traditional product delivery. You won’t manage engineers directly, but you’ll need to turn customer problems, market insight and business opportunities into clear product direction. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team, with significant autonomy and influence.
What we're looking for:A strategic, customer-led and commercially minded product leader who is comfortable operating with autonomy.
You’ll know how to move from customer problems and market opportunities to clear product choices, priorities and roadmap.
Experience across fintech, lending, payments or digital financial services would be highly regarded.
What makes it stand outThis is an opportunity to have genuine influence over what comes next.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team, define the product vision and strategy, establish the product function from the ground up, own the customer-facing roadmap, and help determine how AI, automation and emerging technology are applied across the business.
You'll have significant autonomy to shape the role, challenge existing thinking, and make it your own. If you’re a product leader who gets more excited about strategy, customers and commercial opportunity than managing a large delivery machine, this could be a very interesting next move.
