Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all activities comply with GMP, MHRA and health & safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation and deliver compliance related tasks, including SOP’s, DOC’s, change controls, deviations, CAPA’s and other quality documents.
- Participate in audits and ensure readiness at all times.
- Review and approve validation (URS/DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) and qualification documents. Complete change control activities with strong technical input to maintain GMP compliance.
- Be overall responsible for the Operations performance in the QMS.
- Overall accountable for the SHE performance of the Operations department. This includes investigation of accidents and near misses as well as ensuring the packing floor is always a safe environment to work in.
Delivery
- Accountable for the delivery of the monthly plan ensuring that the plan is achievable and if there is any potential downtime then there is an immediate action plan to get back on track.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Planning).
- Manage and support Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet GMP and HSE standards.
- Support Commercial requests when required to ensure that all projects are well represented by Operations.
- Accountable for all decisions made and visible to all personnel, regardless of role or seniority.
Budget Management
- Manage departmental budgets including consumables, services, contracts, and external vendors.
- Support with the yearly budget management process.

The Head of Production leads the Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse and Safety functions PharmaPac, overseeing production, warehouse, production support and SHE. They ensure safe, reliable, and compliant delivery of products to the client. The role is responsible for:
- Managing and developing an operations team to deliver high standards of performance and technical expertise.
- Provide advice, support with troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues.
- Delivering the planned schedule using a compliant approach and hitting the company targets.
- Delivering key messages both vertically and horizontally across the company.
- Driving compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety requirements in all operational activities.
- Providing direction and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of operations.
- Project management – Be a key stakeholder in the company and be the voice of operations in projects. Drive the operational message and assess the suitability of the projects, in relation to operational delivery
