We produce everything from detailed miniature models to expansive themed interiors, showcasing our commitment to creativity and quality.
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Production or Production Director to oversee and coordinate our talented team of artists, carpenters, metalworkers, mould makers & spray finishers.
This role requires exceptional organisational skills, technical knowledge of creative fabrication processes, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality builds on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator and leader, with a strong background in construction within the creative sector (e.g theatre, set building, film sets, exhibitions, live events, theming etc).

Key Responsibilities

CREATIVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

o Strong understanding of creative build processes, techniques, and materials (e.g carpentry, metalwork, 3D printing, laser cutting, moulding, painting, assembly)
o Familiarity with machinery and tools commonly used (e.g. metalwork, carpentry, CNC machines, 3D printers)
o Ability to read construction drawings and to navigate CAD software
o Good understanding of the logistics and challenges involved with site works
o Thorough understanding of H&S compliance in both workshop and site setting

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

o Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
o Ablity to generate and maintain scheduling spreadsheets (including Projects Builds & Staffing)
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Office and Gantt Software (MS Project or similar)
o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges efficiently

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

o Certification in health and safety (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, first aid)
o RAMS
o Forklift licence
