HEAD OF PROPERTY PORTFOLIO (DIRECTOR DESIGNATE)

Salary: £80,000+ Car & Benefits
Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands
Reports To: Managing Director
This offers an outstanding career opportunity to play a pivotal role in the commercial property portfolio through effective maintenance, strategic sourcing, and strong leadership. You’ll lead a team to drive best in class property management, development, and maintenance. You’ll also manage the group property budget.

THE BUSINESS:

A well established, dynamic group company with a £150million+ real estate portfolio, exceeding 1.4M Sq Ft, are seeking a driven Commercial Property leader to oversee and manage all aspects of building management, dilapidations, maintenance, and development, of the commercial property portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience in the UK commercial property sector.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale property portfolios, including development and refurbishment projects.
  • Proficiency in handling dilapidations schedules and claims.
  • Recognised building surveying qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to monitor costs and ensure value for money.
Responsibilities
  • Handle surveying aspects of dilapidations schedules and claims, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve timely resolutions.
  • Manage property development projects, ranging from large commercial developments to smaller-scale units (and, on occasion, residential).
  • Lead and manage in-house maintenance and landscaping teams, and collaborate closely with the broader property team.
  • Manage relationships with contractors (and budget) to monitor performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and H&S.
  • Identify and lead future property programs including EPC, Solar and security projects
