JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of QHSE. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make their mark in their first leadership role
The successful candidate will elevate our QHSE function to the next level, ensuring the implementation of consistent QHSE standards and practices, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the entire organization. This role will oversee QHSE activities in our three regions: Americas, Europe, and Middle East Asia, each managed by a local QHSE Officer with a dotted reporting line to the Head of QHSE.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience in safety and quality management within the infrastructure industry.
  • Preferably experience in a global or regional role.
  • Knowledge of international QHSE regulations and standards within the infrastructure sector.
  • Teamplayer.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant certification in Continuous Improvement and Safety.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global QHSE strategy.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to regional QHSE Officers, ensuring cohesive and effective QHSE management across regions.
  • Foster a culture of safety, zero incidents, consistent quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices at global and regional levels.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure QHSE performance across the organization.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation for internal and external QHSE audits.
  • Identify and assess QHSE risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Own and manage the organization’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Direct and own Quality and Safety Training programs for all employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate QHSE considerations into all business processes.
