• Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a fantastic Further Education College to recruit a Head of Quality Improvement & Academic Standards.At its heart, this is a classic Head of Quality role – leading the College’s quality operations, driving continuous improvement and working collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure excellent teaching, learning and outcomes for students.But there’s an exciting additional dimension.Alongside leading the wider quality agenda, you’ll have the opportunity to take strategic ownership and input around HE quality and academic standards, giving you the chance to broaden your experience and help shape this important area of the College’s quality provision.And importantly – you do not need to be an HE expert.We’re particularly interested in hearing from strong FE curriculum leaders, Heads of School and existing Quality leaders who understand what excellent curriculum delivery looks like and are ready to take the next step in their career.Experience of Access to HE or some exposure to HE quality within an FE environment would be advantageous, but it is absolutely not a deal breaker.The opportunityYou’ll have the scope to:Lead the College’s quality assurance and quality improvement activity
• Work closely with curriculum teams to drive improvement in teaching, learning and learner outcomes
• Lead and develop the College’s quality cycle, including self-assessment and quality improvement planning
• Use data, learner voice and quality evidence to identify and drive improvement
• Support and challenge curriculum managers to deliver consistently high-quality provision
• Play a key role in inspection readiness and external scrutiny
• Develop your knowledge and experience of HE quality and academic standards
• Bring your own ideas, influence the wider strategy and genuinely make the role your own

Who are we looking for?

• You could already be working as a Quality Manager, but equally you may be a Head of School, Curriculum Manager or senior curriculum leader who has quality embedded throughout your current role and is looking for something different.We’re looking for someone who can combine strong FE curriculum knowledge with an improvement mindset – someone who enjoys working collaboratively, can influence others and understands how to turn quality processes into meaningful improvements for staff and students.You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about HE quality.
