Description
YOUR MISSION AT VOI Since 2018, Voi has been on a mission to create safe, sustainable, and reliable micromobility for everyone. As Head of Quality Management, you will be ultimately accountable for product and supplier quality across Voi’s fleet – from early development and introduction to in-field operation, repairs, and lifecycle performance. You will lead Voi’s Quality Assurance organisation across Europe and China, combining strategic direction with hands-on problem solving. Partnering closely with suppliers, operations, and engineering, you will drive data-driven improvements that directly impact safety, fleet performance, and customer experience. Your mission includes: Leading and developing the Quality Assurance organisation with clear priorities, structure, and ways of working. Owning end-to-end quality performance for vehicles, batteries, and IoT across production and in-field operation. Driving root cause analysis, CAPA, and preventive actions together with suppliers and internal teams. Ensuring supplier readiness, SOP quality, and long-term quality performance for new vehicle introductions. Leading quality processes, standards, and best practices for operations, repairs, and market support. Feeding quality learnings and requirements into future vehicle and platform development. Acting as a key quality interface to senior leadership, with clear reporting, risk assessment, and escalation. Travelling to supplier sites in China and Voi markets in Europe to stay close to real-world product performance. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK We are looking for a senior quality leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, collaborative approach, and who thrives in a fast-growing, changing environment. We believe you have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or manufacturing, including leading QA teams internationally. Strong experience working with suppliers in China and Western organisations. Deep expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality systems or frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. A data-driven mindset; experience with SQL or advanced analytics is a plus. Fluency in English; Chinese language skills are a strong plus. Don’t meet every requirement? If you are excited about this role and our mission, and have relevant, transferable skills, we encourage you to apply – even if you don’t check every box. WHY VOI? Working at Voi is more than just a job; our People Promise includes a personal voyage where you will grow as a professional and be a part of a team and culture that builds something meaningful for society. In addition to this you’ll have the opportunity to: Join Europe’s #1 micromobility operator and one of the fastest growing scale-ups. Shape the quality of products used in 90+ cities across Europe. Get “skin in the game” through our employee options programme. Enjoy unlimited free Voi rides and a dog-friendly office. Work together with inspiring, motivated, and fun colleagues towards a common goal. Join the micromobility revolution and be a part of creating sustainable cities made for living, free from noise and pollution.
