  • Technical degree with focus on quality management or comparable education
  • Knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing systems and ISO requirements
  • Experience with quality techniques (e.g. statistical process control, inspection systems, calibration systems and design of experiments)
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Knowledge of project management techniques
  • Strong leadership and social skills

Responsibilities
  • Design and further development of the organisational structure in the area of quality according to customer requirements and growth strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of 15 direct reports
  • Definition of a target achievement level in terms of time and quantity
  • Responsible for product release
  • Responsibility for compliance with legal requirements for the metrological equipment
  • Representative of the top management for quality management
  • Continuous search for quality improvements and savings potentials
  • Improvement of the cooperation with adjacent departments, especially production
  • Ensuring and further developing the IMS certification
  • Creation and maintenance of the IMS manual as well as the QMS and superordinate IMS documents
  • Responsible for customer-specific audits
  • Supporting and promoting all departments in the creation and maintenance of documents
  • Planning, development and implementation of IMS-relevant staff trainings
  • Planning and implementation of product audits
  • Conducting customer satisfaction surveys
  • Conducting supplier audits for qualification & monitoring and product quality
  • Independent assessment of the quality of new products (qualification, reliability analysis) as well as control of the quality inspections during production
  • Disposition of defective products / management of restricted stock area
  • Maintenance of the documented quality-relevant testing procedures
  • Supporting production by identifying and investigating product deviations
  • Development and production-accompanying laboratory tests incl. the monitoring of testing and measuring equipment
  • Control of complaints management incl. corrective and preventive measures
