Description
Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Our vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is both convenient and affordable for the public. This requires completely reimagining the healthcare experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. We are a remote first company with headquarters in Stockholm and over 200 employees across Europe. We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to join the growing Neko Health team as our Head of Real Estate for International (EMEA). In this pivotal role, you will drive our real estate expansion efforts by identifying, evaluating, and securing optimal locations for our healthcare facilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare accessibility by ensuring our clinics are positioned in the most impactful locations. The role requires someone with strong analytical skills, commercial background, proven landlords' relationships and market knowledge to navigate complex real estate landscapes and deliver results. \n Responsibilities Market Research & Site Selection: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify high-potential locations based on demographic data, healthcare demand, and competitive landscape. Real Estate Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify and negotiate lease agreements with property owners, landlords, and developers to secure the best terms for our expansion. Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, landlords, and key industry stakeholders to unlock opportunities for expansion. Financial & Risk Analysis: Evaluate the financial viability of potential sites, assessing cost structures, return on investment, and long-term growth potential. Regulatory Compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure sites meet zoning laws, healthcare regulations, and licensing requirements in target markets. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to assess site performance and optimize future real estate strategies. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Legal to align real estate expansion with overall business objectives. Strategic Planning: Support strategic expansion initiatives by forecasting market trends and assessing potential roadblocks. Requirements Proven experience in real estate sourcing, commercial leasing, or site selection, preferably in the healthcare and retail of national brands. Strong knowledge of real estate markets in the EMEA and or International. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Good real estate legal knowledge and market standards to guide and drive lease review process efficiently. Ability to analyze financial data, including lease terms, operational costs, and investment feasibility. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., GIS mapping, Power BI) is a plus. Strong communication and relationship management skills. High adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language skills are a plus. \n This role can be based in the UK. We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy and opportunities for professional growth. If you are passionate about transforming healthcare accessibility through strategic real estate expansion, we’d love to hear from you!
