You inspire and empower your team to develop and execute innovative, best practice programs and initiatives which support the delivery of the functional strategy and the overall business objectives Job Description Lead Corporate Affairs strategy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement for regional and remote Australia, ensuring insights are embedded in enterprise decisions and cross-company programs. Acts as the Corporate Affairs Business Engagement Lead for Telstra Business, providing strategic advice and driving integrated communications and engagement. The Head of Regional Corporate Affairs: Leads the development, implementation and evolution of Corporate Affairs strategy for regional & remote, including stakeholder engagement strategy. This strategy is in turn informed by stakeholder engagement and aligned with CF30 and other relevant strategies. Coordinates and reports on delivery of CA regional & remote programs and other activity, aligned to that strategy Leads CARL regional & remote inputs into Corporate Affairs policy priorities Leads coordination of advocacy strategies on regional & remote-related CA priorities Leads Corporate Affairs engagement, including policy advocacy, with key regional & remote stakeholders (other than First Nations stakeholders) to bring in their insights and support advocacy, including: Developing and implementing a regional stakeholder engagement strategy ensuring we receive deep and broad insights into regional and remote community risks and opportunities. This will be aligned to Corporate Affairs’ broader stakeholder engagement framework. Proactive engagement with a small number of key national and critical State/Territory regional-related organisations Representing Telstra in priority regional forums, roundtables, conferences, other events Advocating on key outcomes to support the CA strategy, and engaging with regional stakeholders on key projects (e.g. technology migrations) Leading sentiment assessment and tracking of stakeholders Leads CARL inputs to significant cross-company programs (e.g. technology migrations) Ensures that insights into regional & remote priorities, risks and opportunities are identified, understood and embedded in key cross-company forums and decisions Acts as the Corporate Affairs Business Engagement Lead for Telstra Business (refer to the separate Corporate Affairs Business Engagement Lead scope card for more information).
