ABOUT THE POSITION

The nib Newcastle Knights are seeking an experienced and dynamic NRL Head of Rehabilitation to lead our injury rehabilitation and return-to-play programs for the NRL squad.
Based at the Newcastle Centre of Excellence, this is a senior clinical role responsible for managing injured players through all stages of recovery – from acute injury management to full return to elite competition. You will work closely with the NRL Head Physiotherapist, Head of Performance, and the wider medical team to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programs that achieve world-class recovery outcomes.
This role also involves managing complex injury cases, developing rehabilitation protocols, and mentoring junior physiotherapy staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence.
